The Salmon of Doubt: Hitchhiking the Galaxy One Last Time

Oh geez, that's not a very good post. I can't let that be my last one. Not that this is nessasarily my last post. So for all thoughs interested, I am writing this from Itapira, Brazil. It's in the state of Sao Paulo, kinda in the southeast of the country. It's a very 'cute' city all things considered. And by 'cute', i mean 'little'. The city is little, the houses are little, the people are little, the hotel rooms are little, the cars are little (oh my, i have never seen this many VW bettle and buses in one place), even the meat portions are little (but that's ok since they just keep on bring more). I could see me living here if it wasn't for the whole portugeuse thing. Don't get me wrong, nothing against the language, it's just not my flavor. Oh, and you should see them have coffee. Grown men using tiny little cups. I know I'm going to loose it if I ever see a pinky up when they take a sip. Hopefully I'll have some pictures up soon on my Facebook and some videos up on my YouTube. I'll let ya'll know.

life is different now. i'm not sure what to make of it.  i'm not with lisa anymore.  work is sending me out of state more then ever.  i'm not sure i want to be an engineer anymore.  i'm running again, that's good.  running's good.  it helps the questions go away, at least for a while.  the voices stop and all i can hear is the thud of my feet on pavement; the strenuous labor of my lungs longing for air.  the burning in my legs brings my mind back from the ether.  i welcome the bliss of emotionlessness it brings. running is good.  meaningless, but good.

hey all, it's been a while.  just wanted to post a pic and show off 'my woman I'm taking to the dance'.  also, check out this article on slashdot.  I've got to get me one of these!

Christmas was good.  I didn't get home, but I did cook dinner for my girlfriend and I.  She got me a 3 disk set of Frank Sinatra as a gift.  Looks like I'm heading back to Mississippi in a few days for about a week.  I just wish the travel guitar I bought myself would get here in time to take with.

I'm back...and NJ was less then fun (no problem with the state, just my activity).  Though, it was kinda fun hanging out in a hotel bar with a bunch of old-timers singing Christmas songs and Frank Sanatra.  I should be in good ol' Indiana until after the holidays.  Yippy!
